On May 6th, a small spoiler was announced for the upcoming special set of the Scarlet & Violet: Black Bolt & White Flare block. As the name suggests, the new set refers to the Unova region and highlights the main dragons of the “Yin & Yang” duality: Reshiram and Zekrom.

The Japanese collection will be released on June 6th, and in the West, it is expected to arrive around July or August (before the 2025 World Championships). However, there is still no confirmed exact date.

Collection Details
The products will be split into two sets, focusing on Reshiram and Zekrom. Some cards will be exclusive to either the black or white version of these products. Each “side” of the list has about 170 cards, probably surpassing 340 cards in total.
The set also promises that each Pokémon will receive its own “Illustration Rare” version, as well as a regular version.

Pokémon
Reshiram & Zekrom & Kyurem

All dragons share (in their second attack) the idea that they trigger a specific effect if the opponent has taken more prize cards.
- Reshiram — Blaze Burst: deals 130 + 50 damage FOR EACH PRIZE card the opponent has taken, but after the effect, it discards an energy from itself.
- Zekrom — Voltage Burst: deals 130 + 50 damage FOR EACH PRIZE card the opponent has taken, but then takes 30 recoil damage.
- Kyurem — Blizzard Bust: deals 130 damage plus 10 damage to each of the opponent’s Benched Pokémon FOR EACH PRIZE card the opponent has taken. This “sniper” effect is the only one that also spreads damage to the Bench according to this condition.
